Product Description

UNILUBE-AC LUBRICANT is a polymeric liquid which acts as a non-foaming crease and rope mark preventive agent.

It is a APEO/NPEO free product and conforms to Oeko-tex and REACH compliance as well.

How to Apply

UNILUBE-AC LUBRICANT due to its low foaming properties often makes the addition of a defoamer unnecessary. However, where foam is a problem, then the addition of 0.2-0.3 g/ Unisil Antifoam is recommended.

Features and Benefits

  • Provides woven and knit goods i.e. wool, cotton, and polyamide. Polyester, acrylic fiber and mixture of same with a soft and smooth handle during bleaching and dyeing thus preventing crease marks.
  • Does not interfere with the dyeing process.
  • Reduce foam formation in bleaching and dyeing process
  • Is stable over a wide range of alkaline or acid condition and with high salt addition in reactive dyeing.
  • Stable at all pH and electrolyte levels.
  • Does not impair wet & light fastness properties of dyes.

Application

UNILUBE-AC LUBRICANT is applied in the bleaching / dyeing bath at the rate of 1.0 – 3.0 g/l, dependent upon substrate/loading and equipment. It is recommended to be added before the commencement of bleaching and dyeing process, in parts, and continue the addition till dyeing.

Precautions when in use

Ensure that the UNILUBE-AC solution is completely homogenous before using.

Storage and Handling

To ensure that the product quality is maintained, the container should be tightly sealed when not in use. Store at normal temperature, and prevent prolonged exposure to extreme heat or freezing condition, which may cause product separation. If separation does occur, thaw if frozen, stir the contents, and use in the normal manner.
